This position is based in Dalhart, TX.
DESCRIPTION
Assess and evaluate residents’ needs for medical, psychosocial and personal care. Administers regularly prescribed medications as authorized or directed by a licensed nurse. OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Class I.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
•Delivers safe resident care.
•Documents all information relevant to resident care.
•Maintains communications as required with other staff members and resident family members.
•Ensures a safe resident environment.
•Performs operational support duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS
•Education: Graduate of a state approved Medication Aide course.
•Experience: One year’s experience in a medical setting preferred.
•Licensed by the Texas Department of Health.
•CPR Certification required.
